BASKETRY

Our basketry is handwoven by the Pilagá community in a fibre called Carandillo. After long walks on the Monte, the Pilagá women choose the leaves they find the most beautiful and useful. After collecting one hundred leaves, they go back to their communities to start a five step process, that will, later on, lead to stunning basketry pieces.
